We have been made aware of the following funding:

Coalfields Regeneration Trust – Deadline: 16th September 2016

The Coalfields Regeneration Trust has announced that the Coalfields Community Investment Programme is now open for applications. The Coalfields Community Investment Programme make grants of up to £10,000 (£5,000 for capital costs to community groups that help people gain the skills they need in order to:

• Increase their opportunities
• Increase the number of people in work
• Improve the health and wellbeing of all age groups.

Each funding round addresses on of these themes and this funding round is looking to support projects that promote improve the health and wellbeing of all age groups.

The fund is open to projects in the top 30% most deprived coalfield communities. The total fund value of £500,000 will be committed over the period 1st April 2016 to 31st March 2017 at four decision making Committees which will take place quarterly (£125,000 allocated to each Committee).

The closing date for this funding round is the 16th September 2016.
