We are so pleased with the outcome of an inception meeting with the Shenley Hub Project Group (pictured), when we took opportunity to agree the direction and terms of reference for an indepependent feasibility study into the concept of a Community Hub on the Shenley Estate, Bournville, West Midlands.

Funded by the Bournville Village Trust (https://www.bvt.org.uk/), it was agreed that the feasibility study would be ‘peer led’; in that the work will be steered, supervised and deliveredby the Project Group themselves, with the support and guidance of Wider Impact Director Edwin Lewis and BVT Resident Involvement Officer Anne Walker (pictured seated far right).

Methodology will include desk research and field research that will include community questionnaires, work shops and one to one meetings.  Chaired by resident Jackie Barthorpe (seated centre) we aim to use the study to build the skills, capacity and capabilities of the Project Group, with objectives that include the Project Group having the skills and experience to develop, manage and deliver the proposed Community Hub.
