If you are able to, you really need to walk on the Trentham Ridge (North Staffordshire), and witness the on-going regeneration of the North Park Woodland area, which is being cleared of view hiding pine trees and re-planned with over 10,000 native oaks.

To be named the Diamond Wood, it is humbling to note that in a over a 100 years time, someone else will also enjoy this amazing view!

I wonder if Stoke City FC (pictured if you look hard enough) will still be in the Premier League?

Its a bit of a walk to get there, but well worth the effort!
