I attended a rewarding meeting last night at the Jamia Mosque, Walsall. My role is to support the development of a Community Centre, which has been instigated by the Mosque. Objectives include making the Community Centre open and available to the whole community – no matter what faith.

I am so impressed by the openness and intentions of the Imam and members of the Mosque – a credit to them, and an example of good practice that others could learn from.
